Releasing Overwhelm and Stress Together
Come to my virtual Tapping Circle to release your overwhelm and stress from all the changes in the world.
You might be reacting to stress from the news and changes in our community, work and home from the pandemic in different ways, like
- Feeling overwhelming emotions,
- Being unable to think clearly or take action, or
- Having your body react with tension and even debilitating pain.
It doesn’t have to be this way—Tapping can help!
EFT, or “Tapping,” releases stress. A new research study in the APA Journal shows that just 1 hour of Tapping in groups lowered cortisol levels in participants by more than 43%, much more than in groups that just got psychoeducation or no treatment.
So come to my Tapping Circle for some guided tapping over Zoom. It’s all virtual, so you can join us from the comfort of your home.
We’ll do group tapping together. There will also be at least two “hotseats” for volunteers to go deep on the causes of their own stress. Everyone will tap along.
By tapping along with the group, you’ll get more than you would have on your own even if you aren’t the volunteer because
- You’ll release any stresses you have that are the same or similar as a volunteer’s.
- You’ll get something called “Borrowing Benefits,” in which you release stresses that aren’t the same as the volunteers’.
We’ll meet from 11:30 am to 1 pm EDT / 8:30 to 10 am PDT on the next four Fridays:
- March 27th
- April 3rd
- April 10th, and
- April 17th.

This Tapping Circle is for anyone over 18 years old who is feeling stress from pandemic. Please come when you can, even if you can’t make it to all four Tapping Circles. It will make a difference.

This is the first training I give new clients. It shows how to do the mechanics of Tapping. It also shows how to do basic tapping for what you’re feeling right now. I call it “Aspirin Tapping,” and it’s something you can use on your own.
And here’s a second video that shows you an easy move you can use now. The Zip Up is something you can do to protect yourself from getting overwhelmed by the energy of everyone around you, which has been pretty intense in the past few weeks.
